SWEET MARCUS, Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Sweet Marcus

Age: 12 years old
Size: Large
Health: Good Health, vet checked, fully vaccinated including rabies, flea treatments, fully dewormed, and micro chipped, neutered, full blood work done, heart worm negative, dental extractions, scaling and polish done

We have moved Marcus to a temporary foster home. Our foster parents Chris and Suzanne offered to foster Marcus until a more long term foster or permanent home can be found. We will have him fully vetted he has a few skin tags that we’ll have removed and do any other vetting that needs to be done

He is settling in nicely and is a very good boy. He is good in the house. We believe Marcus is deaf and will startle if doesn’t see you first before you pet him.

Chris and Suzanne have discovered he doesn’t bother with balls or a game of fetch but he loves his stuffie toys. He loves going for walks and doesn’t tire from a good walk. Once inside though he is a real couch potatoe. He is good in the car and loved his trip to the pet store.

Ask us about our foster to adopt program as well.

We are looking for a home with a fully fenced in secure backyard and one with not too many stairs. If there are children in the home they should be 10 years or older.

Marcus is a sweet soul who would be a very loving companion and wonderful addition to your life.

If you are interested in meeting Marcus and think he may be the fit for you please go to our website at
to download our application or email us to request an application. A completed application is required prior to meeting the dogs.

When AARF rescues a dog, we feel that it is our responsibility, to both the dog and the potential adopter, to make the best possible match. With this in mind, we do everything that we can to gather enough information to ensure a permanent adoption. Completing an application does not guarantee approval to adopt from our rescue. AARF Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of animal to anyone who they believe cannot or will not provide an appropriate environment for the animal. We may receive several applications to adopt a particular animal. When that occurs, we chose the application which seems the best fit with the animal’s needs and personality. We do not process adoption applications on a first come basis.
